Full description
We've made this charming sun catcher from tumbled beach glass and glass beads. The mosaic pieces have come from old bottles, so they create a three-dimensional effect. The back of the sun catcher is also glass from the beach. Because it is perfectly flat we think it was probably originally part of a window. The sun catcher is washable and comes with a piece of transparent cord.
The sun catcher is 9.5 cm high, 6 cm wide and 9 mm thick.
Our mosaic sun catchers are individually hand made in Chudleigh, Devon. We collect our materials ourselves, mainly from local beaches. Each piece of glass is unique, so each hanger is unique. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.
The sun catcher will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
