I love the process of Viking Knitting. It makes me think of my dear Mum, who was half Danish and adored to knit wool. She made jumpers and socks and scarves for us throughout her life. I have inherited the love of knitting but cannot follow a pattern but I do love knitting copper and silver wire. Viking knitting is a very early way of knitting and it is so pleasing when you have pulled your work through the draw plate and this magical chain emerges. I had many short pieces in my collection box and had inspiration (at 3 in the morning!) to use them to make these cool bangles.

Full description
A black enamelled copper wire bangle with Viking knit elements formed from black enamelled copper wire. It is embellished with silver coloured beads and silver coloured end caps and facetted black glass beads. It measures just over 7" or 18 cm and is closed with a simple hook and loop clasp formed from the strong black enamelled wire which holds everything together and can be gently manipulated to fit the shape of your wrist.
