Combining our glass work with the drawing expertise of our son, this plaque is a unique way of presenting his artwork.
We've all enjoyed visiting motor events, shows as well as race meetings, and have many wonderful photos from those days out. Adam has taken some of them, together with magazine images, to produce a hand-drawn image of the Ferrari stand at the Birmingham Motor Show some years ago.
We have scanned Adam's drawing onto the computer and had the image transferred to high-temperature decal paper. The decal is then sandwiched between a sheet of white and a sheet of clear glass and fired in our kiln to around 800 C, which fuses the glass into a single piece, encapsulating and protecting the image.
This piece is approximately 25 cm tall and 19 cm wide. We have designed and 3d-printed a pair of stands to support this piece.
All of our products are designed and hand-crafted in our studio in Shropshire
