A very bright and cheerful 40s Style, Ascot Scarf. As worn by Miss Marple. Snug Neck warmer. This makes an interesting yet inexpensive gift.
Total length is approx. 61cm (24in). Width is 14.5cm (5.75in). The straight piece in the centre which wraps around the neck is 31.75cm (12.5in) - this is very stretchy - and the remainder consists of 2 equal 'tabs' (See pictures). There is a narrow slot through which you pass one of the tabs. You end up with a secure necktie/ bow tie effect.
You can wear the 'bow' at the centre or to the side. You can fold back the top of the scarf or tuck the bottom edge under your coat to exclude draughts and retain warmth.
This is a very cheerful rainbow coloured, self-striping scarf. Strong colours (NOT pastels) include Ivory, Yellow, Lime Green, Lilac,Dark Pink and Orange. PLEASE NOTE - a lurex type thread runs throughout this scarf. Study the pictures provided. I point this out because I know some folks do not like Sparkle.
Hand Knitted in Double Knitting weight Yarn.
Yarn content is 66% Acrylic, 29% Polyamide, 5 % Polyester
Machine washable - at low temperature 30 degrees (gentle cycle), do NOT bleach, do NOT iron. May be dry cleaned (Petroleum solvents only).
Made with care in a smoke-free, pet-free home.
Please note that to keep overall costs down and respect the planet, outer packaging may be recycled (i.e. I will post to you in padded envelope which may have been used).
