We make every shelf with sustainably sourced timber and locally produced, heavy duty steel brackets. The finish is non toxic, hypoallergenic and seals the wood with a waterproof, heat resistant and stain proof layer of protection which is very easy to maintain and clean.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Additional terms
Items must be dispatched back to Pastos Co within 30 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. Alternatively, the item can be returned in-person to Pastos Co. Custom orders, customised items and all studio desks are not eligible for returns, exchanges and refunds. If any customised items are returned back to Pastos Co without prior agreement, no refunds will be issued. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

High-quality furniture and fair wages for everyone in our supply chain and team are our top priority, so all materials used in our furniture are sustainably sourced and locally produced.
Each of our wooden shelves is made to order, carefully cut, sanded, and finished by hand. Every shelf is unique, with slight variations in colour and grain that add to its character. Each shelf is approximately 3cm thick and 22cm deep. If you don’t see the size you need, please reach out, and we’ll make it to measure.
Our shelves are strong and solid, crafted from joinery-grade wood that’s both sustainable and durable. Each board is cut to size, hand-sanded multiple times to a smooth finish, and then coated with a colour from our range. We use water-based, non-toxic, hypoallergenic finishes that seal the wood with a protective, waterproof, and stain-resistant layer for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Please note, we provide concrete wall plugs with our shelves. If your wall is made from a different material, please use the appropriate type of wall plugs for secure installation.
Wood Characteristics:
Wood is a natural material that breathes and responds to its environment, showing unique knots, grain patterns, and colour differences. Kiln drying helps minimise warping and splitting, but wood may still move slightly with changes in humidity and temperature. Each piece is crafted with care to allow for this natural movement.
