Full description

"Love on the Rocks" is a captivating three-dimensional mixed media piece that brings the magic of the sea to life.

Measuring 6” x 8”, this artwork is crafted primarily from sea glass from Seaham UK, offering a unique and tactile experience. The piece features two charming birds, meticulously made from a combination of sea glass, small feathers and seashell, creating a delicate and lifelike appearance.

The birds are set against a beautifully textured background adorned with circular patterns that transition seamlessly from a calming blue at the top to a verdant green at the bottom, evoking a serene sky and grassy landscape. Their legs are cleverly depicted and they are perched on a base composed of various natural elements, such as a rock, shells and additional sea glass pieces. Finally the scene is adorned by a sea pottery heart found off the west coast of Scotland.
