Full description
Teardrop shaped silver pendant with a single 6mm red garnet gemstone at the centre. All hung from a handcrafted silver bail and Prince of Wales chain.
Measures 35mm drop, 15mm wide.
For this design I use the almandine variety of garnet which originates from Mozambique. They have a beautifully deep red hue whilst being clean throughout (i.e. with few or no imperfections in the stone). Garnet is the birthstone for January, making it a perfect birthday gift.
Each piece of jewellery is handmade at my home studio in Riddlesden, West Yorkshire. It will be sent in a white gift box with my logo and tied with ribbon. If you would like to send as a gift direct to the recipient, I can include a handwritten greeting inside the package.

Hallmarking Note - UK law states that all sterling silver items weighing 7.78g or more must be hallmarked by a UK Assay Office. Pieces that fall below this threshold are exempt, and as such please note that this design does not carry a hallmark.
