I love making these and I hope you enjoy using them. Our tumble dryer balls are 100% pure wool, made from a combination of raw fleece, waste wool and yarn, felted together to make a firm ball. They will not unravel, as the process makes a secure finished product. This set is black and decorated with coloured spirals and spots. They are supplied in a black and white drawstring storage bag. You can choose whether to receive 3 or 4 balls.
Balls may vary a little in size but are generally about tennis-ball-sized. They are great for speeding up the drying process by separating items of laundry, allowing a better flow of warm air. The wool also absorbs moisture from your laundry. They smooth out creases, soften towels and can reduce static and using them can reduce your use of plastics or non-recyclable dryer sheets. If you wish you can add essential oils to the balls to scent your laundry.
Wool balls can be used over and over again and will not release any toxic chemicals into your dryer. When they reach the end of their useful life you can pop them in your compost bin. This won’t be for a long time. I’ve had mine for well over 3 years and they’re as good as new!
Your parcel will be sent using a standard parcel delivery service with Yodel. If you need faster delivery you can choose Royal Mail first Tracked 24 through the options. Parcels are usually packed using recycled packaging and additional items can be included for no further postage cost.
