Living in Devon, I have always been amused by the ongoing argument about whether you should put the cream or the jam on first when you have a cream tea, it's regularly mentioned on the local news. In Devon it's cream on first and in Cornwall it's jam first, so I try to remember when I visit Cornwall to do it the Cornish way! Of course, you can do it any way you want, maybe even cream, jam and more cream, I think the history of it all may go back to whether you have a warm scone or not, or if you put butter on as well. And don't get me started on the pronunciation of the word scone!

A mounted print of my 'Cream On First' cream tea watercolour painting, referring to the age old 'debate' between Devon and Cornwall and the proper way to eat your scone!
The print is size is 6.9 x 4.9 inches mounted in a 10 x 8 inch soft white mount ready for you to frame at home.
I also have this image available as a greetings card too.
