Sailing boat Suncatcher made from beautiful stained glass by Carole’s Glass.
If you are off to the seaside you might get a glimpse of a sailboat or two. This pretty stained glass panel shows a boat in full sail and would be great for any sailing enthusiast.
This sun catcher measures 10.5cms x 25cms excluding the hanging rings.
Each piece of glass in this sun catcher has been hand cut, ground, washed, copper foiled and solder together to form a beautiful picture of a sailing boat before being washed again and polished, I have added a decorative boarder made of twisted wire. A length of fishing line has been attached for hanging purposes.
The glass used in this sucatcher is - the sky from pale blue streaky glass, the sun from yellow irridised sea glass, the sail from lime green hammered sea glass and dark blue textured glass, the boat from white opaque glass and the sea from turquoise wissmach glass. This is a beautiful mixture of interesting glass.
I will supply one good quality window hook so that you are able to hang your sun catcher as soon as it is received. Please remember to wet the plunger before you push it firmly onto the window.
