Using only luxury quality yarn from our own alpaca herd and made on our farm by myself; I have been fortunate to use my technical fashion and design experience, and also many years running my own business. After building up our herd of alpacas from 2011, I was able to make a leap into my love for luxury yarns, enabling me to design by myself and hand make individual quality items.

Full description
This baby’s hat has been handmade using pure luxury alpaca yarn which has been produced by our own alpacas.
Alpaca is a hollow fibre inside which enables it to be more light and retain more heat, perfect for a newborn baby. It also does not hold moisture; and is perfect for anybody who has sensitive skin or allergies.
This would make a perfect gift for a special newborn baby. This hat is approximately age appropriate from birth to up to 1 year dependent on the individual newborn size of head; it has a rib edging allowing more give for growth and extended wear. I recommend hand washing the hat in a wool detergent and drying naturally on a flat surface.
There may be plant matter in the yarn, which is common in natural fibers. It adds to the rustic charm, but I just wanted to point it out for your information.
This hat has been designed and made by myself on our farm, situated 3 miles from Glastonbury, and overlooking the iconic Tor Hill.
