Full description

This is a printing from my unique original sketch of historical image in high quality pencil.

This sketch captures a busy moment on Union Street, Aberdeen, in the mid-20th century. The double-decker buses that dominated the street during this period, offering a nostalgic glimpse into the hustle and bustle of city life at that time.

On the left side of the sketch stands the Gloucester Hotel, a popular establishment during the 1950s.The hotel was wellknown for accommodating travelers from all over the world before it closed its doors in the 1970s, marking the end of an era.

Today, Union Street remains a vital artery in Aberdeen, though much of its original charm, as seen in this sketch, has changed with time.

This printing is presented on a 250gsm acid free linen fabric paper and adheres to a acid free 5mm formboard with colourless fixative spray with anti UV protection. Image size 18cm square with a backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag.
