The inspiration for this painting was the beauty of the local marshes on the River Dee at Parkgate. Its a beautiful place even in the winter. The Canadian geese leave and arrive thru out the year, which is a sight to behold. The twitchers (bird watchers) come through the year to watch all the other birds. I shall do another painting or two and make a series showing the wonderful atmosphere of the place
