Most of my seascape pictures are based on Tayvallich bay. This is where I spent my Summers as a child. I still visit Tayvallich, as it gives me a sense of peace. A very unknown village which is great. Quiet, peaceful, and unknown.

Handmade fused glass 'Seaside' picture.
100% fusing glass. Completely unique and individual and really rather eye-catching!

'Seaside' is made completely from glass which has been fused in my kiln. There is no enamel, glass paint or any other materials used, this picture is 100% pure bullseye fusing glass!
'Seaside' started as a sheet of wispy blue bullseye glass. I then added the details by using a combination of frit glass, sheet glass, and glassline. To give it a little touch of sparkle I then added tiny bits of metallic dichroic glass to give a add of bling.
The final stage of creating my glass picture was the firing. 'Seaside' was placed in my kiln and fired over night. To successfully fuse all the elements of this picture it was fired to 1400 oC.
Frame: 33cm x 33 square x 2cm depth.
Picture: 19.5cm x 19.5cm square x 6mm thickness (100% glass).
Fitting on back for hanging.
