I live in the Yorkshire dales where winter hats are fairly essential! I struggle to find a hat as I don’t want them too tight, too scratchy, too heavy, or too tightly woven - so I make my own on my hand knitting loom!
My hats are loose but cosy, soft and double layered so you get warm the without tightness, and adaptable - you can wear them long and slouchy or folded and hugging.
I love colour so if you have a particular colour request let me know and I’ll make one up for you.

The one with the Autumn colours!
Here's one of my best selling colourways - autumn browns; oranges, purples and burgundy mixing and marling in this fabulous Stylecraft yearn.
This hat is made double so that you have two pieces of knitting to keep you warm without having to be tight. The soft nature of this knit means that its stretchy and comfortable and can be worn either slouch or with a turn up cuff. The colour placing of this variegated yarn may vary between hats, but all are made in the same rich autumn colours.
Machine washable at 30 degrees.
Hat measurements: 29cm full length (before folding up); width 22cm across at brim with a stretch of up to 29cm.
All my hats are made in my pet and smoke free Yorkshire studio. If you'd like one made up in another colour do ask.
All handmade work is well packaged and sent by Royal Mail tracked and signed for.
