Full description
Inspired by archeological Mayan finds, this pendant was made from a hand-sawn copper sheet and decorated with a base layer of enamel, a second layer of green was then applied and the design scratched (sgraffito) through to reveal the under-colour. The piece was then fired in the kiln to fuse the enamel to the base metal. The pendant is counter-enamelled on the reverse. It is suspended from a sterling silver trace chain and fastened with a handmade hook and eye.
The necklace measures 29cms in total length. The pendant measures 4cms x 2cms. It will be supplied in a gift box and will be well packaged on delivery. All my items are individually fired making each one unique. Post and packing is included in the price.
