Turquoise literally means “Turkish Stone”. Turquoise was used for beads by the Egyptians as early as 5500BC and has been used for amulets in Europe and Asia for thousands of years. It is also important in Native American jewellery. The Navajo and Hopi in Arizona value Turquoise as an attractor of prosperity and fertility of the soil and treasure it as a powerful success and good luck stone. Turquoise is said to be a stone of communication, making one more eloquent, loving, creative and honest. It is also considered a stone of friendship.

Full description
These pretty earrings are made with 8mm round stablised turquoise beads from the Hubei Province in China. They are complimented with sterling silver Bali flower-shaped spacers, beads and ear hooks.
The earrings come carefully packaged in a kraft gift box which is made from 100% recycled card. Underneath the box insert, you will find a small poly bag for storage and an anti-tarnish strip to help keep the silver shiny. You will also receive a Sacred Gem gemstone card highlighting the meanings associated with turquoise. On the reverse of the card are some simple jewellery-care guidelines.
The earrings will be posted within 3 days of purchase by 2nd class post.
