My love of the ocean and beach strolling allows me to collect various items washed up, such as wood, glass stones etc.
I always enjoyed miniature things as a child and allowing my mind to drift off into a scene is so relaxing.
Also my arthritic hands benefit from the work, and my mind following a recent stroke focuses attention away from these issues.

I made this from various pieces of driftwood found on Scottish beaches.The base piece of wood was found at the site of an old boat wreck
These small scenes always attract a lot of attention in the home. They provide hours of mind relaxing just staring and letting your imagination drift along.
