I am blessed to live next to the beautiful malvern common with an unspoilt view of the Malvern Hills. I take inspiration from the landscape around me; often incorporating elements from nature in to my work.
I have been designing and making mala beads for more than a decade. I try to create designs that evoke memories and give meaning to the wearers spiritual practice.

The mala necklace combines 8mm Rosewood with Raw Moonstone, Clear Crystal Quartz, Peach Aventurine.
I have used decoupage and resin techniques to set an image of Quan Yin in a bezel to create an amulet that sits below a carved bodhi seed Guru Bead.
The design is finished off with a handmade tassel.
Quan Yin is the Bodhisattva of Compassion and this mala can be used for chanting to Quan Yin.
