When you choose one of my handcrafted boxes, you can be sure that each product is made in full compliance with the latest product safety regulations in the UK, including the General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR).
Here’s what I do to ensure your peace of mind:
High-Quality, Safe Wood: I use a variety of natural woods, including tulipwood, walnut, pine, beech, maple, and cherry, all selected for their durability and safety for everyday use. Every wood is treated safely, without harmful chemicals.
Gorilla Wood Glue: The glue I use is specially formulated for wood and contains no toxic substances, making it safe for home use.
Brimax Wood Wax Finish: This natural wax provides a shiny, protective finish, free from harmful chemicals.
Safe Flocking Velvet: The flocking used in the drawers is made from safe synthetic fibers, with no health or irritation risks.
Safety First: My products are not suitable for children under 3 years old, as they contain small parts that could pose a choking hazard. Also, when applying glue or wax, I recommend wearing gloves and protective eyewear to avoid direct contact with skin or eyes.
Shipping: I currently ship only within the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, I do not offer international shipping.

The creation of the "Birba" box was inspired by a brilliant idea from a customer who shared her unique design with me. She wanted a box that reflected her vision and personality, and I had the pleasure of bringing it to life. With care and passion, I crafted this adorable cat-shaped box, perfect for holding her little treasures. It has been a beautiful journey of collaboration, and I am excited to see how "Birba" will bring joy and functionality to her new owner’s life.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Meow everyone! I'm Birba, the cheeky cat lovingly crafted by Marco. I'm made from tulipwood and pine, featuring adorable light walnut drawers. I have three spacious drawers: one right in my face (ready to hold all your secrets!) and two in my tummy, perfect for storing rings, necklaces, and bracelets.
I've been finished with antique pine wax, giving me an elegant and timeless look. Marco polished me to make me shine, and now I stand 30 cm tall, 20 cm wide, and 11 cm deep. I can't wait to find a new home where I can keep all your precious treasures!
