Recycled Sterling Silver Colourful Small Rectangle Surfite Necklace
This unique necklace features a vibrant Surfite stone, set in recycled silver with an oxidised finish. The Surfite, a byproduct of surfboard manufacturing, showcases stunning layers of colour, making each piece truly one of a kind. On the back, a hidden hand-stamped wave adds a personal touch, symbolizing the flow and beauty of the ocean. Each necklace is crafted with care and precision, making it a perfect statement piece for anyone who loves to wear something truly one-of-a-kind and sustainably made.
Surfite is made from resin run offs created when glazing surfboards. Over time layers of resin build up creating a slab of multiple colours, in the past these run offs would have been broken up and sent to land fill. Instead, by cutting them into shapes which can be made in jewellery this process reduces the amount that is sent to landfill by up to 90%.
