Introducing my latest beautiful, unique sunset felted art inspired by natural landscape in Cumbria.
A blackbird is flying free against the pink sunset above the purple mountains. Layers of colourful needle felting and slow stitching depict a wonderful scenic background leading the eye into a meandering mountain stream in the foreground.
On both sides of the riverbanks are pink flower and branches enhancing the blended colours of the overall composition.
I have used wet and dry felting techniques to create this felt art.
There are many benefits to mental health by looking at this shaded green, natural landscape with a warm palette of colours.
The detailed felt is mounted in a glazed, white wooden frame 22cm x 22 cm.
