Colourful handknit wristwarmers to brighten your Autumn/Winter wardrobe.
These wristwarmers are hand-knitted in a pure wool and alpaca blend yarn, from a pattern I wrote myself.
After knitting, these wristwarmers were gently hand-washed and blocked to help them retain their shape.
Wristwarmers are a great transition item for between seasons - that time when it's too cold for bare hands but not quite chilly enough for full gloves or mittens. And for anyone who has circulation issues, wristwarmers can really make a difference.
Every pair of wristwarmers I knit is unique, just like people. Also, my squirrel-like brain won't permit endless repetition!
Each glove is knitted individually, so please allow for some slight differences between the two. I like to think that bland perfection is for supermarkets, not handicrafts; these fingerless gloves are more like sisters than twins.
HOW TO LOVE AND CARE FOR THEM FOREVER:
These fingerless gloves are knitted with a pure wool/alpaca mix yarn so are handwash only. I recommend a very cool soak with a tiny bit of gentle wool soap (there's lots of really good no-rinse soaps out there), squeeze excess moisture out, gently blot with a towel and lay flat to dry.
