Full description
Very textured sterling silver earrings inspired by the gorgeous moss and lichen of my surroundings with Citrine dangles. The textures are achieved by heating up a scrap silver with added silver nuggets and silver dust. I have oxidised the pieces to accentuate these textures and this is preserved with penetrating, preserving wax.
Golden yellow Citrine cabochons with a diameter of 5mm, hand set in silver, dangle from the bottom edge, moving about freely, reminiscent of a falling dewdrop.
The dangle is 22mm/ nearly an inch from the top of the silver piece and they are fastened to the ear, so they sit neatly on the earlobe, with a sterling silver ear post and scroll back fastening.
These would make a perfect present for a November birthday as Citrine is the
birthstone for November along with Topaz. Citrine is said to energise the solar plexus to radiate power, centeredness, confidence and endurance. It is a gemstone of positivity.
All silver is eco sourced from a UK supplier.
Posted in a recycled cardboard gift box; tied with raffia ribbon; ready to be gifted and posted in plastic free packaging .
