I do love to sea the yellow fields in spring, early summer, usually I try to capture them against a stormy darker sky as I love the drama the image creates. But this time it was the vastness of the flat 'yellow sea' that caught my attention and in the background, Rye one of the historical Cinque Ports just about visible.

Full description
Original Watercolour painting of an Oil Seed field with the outline of Rye emerging in the distance. Once probably under water the field now has become a 'sea of yellow'.
Painted on 300gsm watercolour paper with artist quality colourfast paints, size 35.5 x 50.8cm.
This painting is sold as is, without a frame or mount. I have included a photo of this painting framed for your reference.
