Full description
This necklace is made from naturally shaped pieces of sea glass. The sea frosted glass pieces have been suspended from a cord of brown waxed cotton. A pair of sliding knots allow the length of the necklace to be adjustable and yet stay at the desired length.
The cord circumference is around 15" at its shortest and 26" at its longest.
The glass has a drop of around 1 1/4"
All of the sea glass used in my work is collected from the beaches close to my home on the Isle of Wight. The glass is washed and dried before being worked. It is finished with a little baby oil to highlight the glass colour.
