We created these paper planes as a way to help kids take a break from screens and get back to the kind of play that’s been around for thousands of years. There’s something timeless about folding a simple piece of paper and watching it take flight, and I wanted to bring that back into children’s lives. It’s not just fun; it gets them thinking creatively, working with their hands, and playing in the real world, which is so important. As a parent, it can feel tough to pull your kid away from the endless digital stuff, but these planes are an easy, affordable way to encourage that kind of imaginative, screen-free play that helps them grow and develop in the best ways.

Print, make and fly this exciting Star Skidders paper plane! The perfect entertainment for your kids. The design wraps fully around the plane and is set up to include the white page edges that your printer cannot reach, making sure it always turns out looking great! Graphics are also included in the pinch gap along the inside of the fuselage to take your playtime to the next level.
Star Skidders were made to fly - These jets have been professionally engineered for aerodynamics and airtime!
Included in every file:
- The full colour design for the plane with crease pattern and cutter guide, so you can get flying straight away.
- Printer ink can be costly so we've added a blank B&W, test-build prototype to save you ink should you need time to get to grips with how to make the tail fins.
- Step by step instructions for cutting, glueing and folding the paper toy.
- A how-to for doing the awesome Star Skidders secret hand signal.
