I love making items from 100% wool felt as the material is so easy to work with. These cats are one of my favourite brooches to make as the ‘fish eye’ buttons really do give the brooch a cat like look. I am always eager to see the finished result.

This cheeky brooch is for all of you cat lovers out there and is handcrafted using 100% grey and white wool felt. The felt is OEKO-TEX certified and has been tested for harmful substances. It is lovingly hand stitched and comes attached to a Kraft paper gift tag.
I have used green buttons for the eyes. These ‘fish eye’ buttons give the brooch a real cat like look and there is a ‘made with love’ heart charm sewn to one of the cats ears. This brooch will certainly cheer up an item of clothing.
The brooch measures approximately 6.5cm x 5cm and has a silver brooch clasp sewn onto the back which makes this item unsuitable for young children.
