Klecksography Art
I paint using the intuitive technique called klecksography. I find joy in washes of watercolour, especially bright colours, as watercolour has a mind of its own and often dictates the art. I also have pareidolia which means sometimes I have to draw very fast to capture all the images my mind sees hidden in the watercolour.
Like Rorschach I have evolved my art over a life time from my own childhood love of playing klecksography or ‘scribble pictures’ as I called them – I would do some scribbles or blobs of then try to turn them into pictures. I thought I had invented this game as a child!
While Rorschach’s inkblot technique evolved to fold the paper (to create symmetrical images which he hoped would make it easier for viewers to see ‘hidden’ images) I enjoy painting more freely.
Hundreds of my biomorphic paintings and illustrations are in private collections across the globe, including a mediation centre where people are invited to mediate upon the artwork.

Full description

Biomorphic platform game painting

This is a klecksography watercolour painting; washes are layered up and the images that appear in the paint as it dries are drawn with a technical drawing pen. It has a metallic gold background.

This is a true one of a kind. I never sell prints or do commissions. The painting uses archival quality watercolour, cotton rag paper and finest quality pigments and has metallic gold highlights. Please note that no paintings should ever be left in the full sunlight.

The dimensions are for the size of the paper, which has a boarder of about 2cm to allow for better framing.
