THE IMAGE
Plockton is a lovely wee village on the mainland, almost opposite Skye. Standing in front of the water, looking out, you really do feel like you are in a living painting. I added some tweed texture to the rocks which makes the image more unique and perfect for displaying in a home which may have some Harris Tweed items.
My artwork starts out life as a photo and then using digital collage techniques, I layer up the image with colours, textures and light effects. It almost looks like a painting and evokes more of a feeling of a place.
My art prints are sold on my own website as well as selected stockist in Scotland.

- 8" - image 10.5cm, outer mount edge fits 8 x 8" frame (approx 20cm)
- 12" - image 18cm, outer mount edge fits 12 x 12" frame (approx 30cm)
- 16" - image 28cm, outer mount edge fits 16 x 16" frame (approx 40cm) - size 16x16' shown in the main photo
ARCHIVAL PRINT QUALITY
Professionally printed using 12 Canon pigment inks on museum-quality 310gsm Canson fine art paper to create a Giclée Print which will last for decades if properly cared for.
Signed on the front by the artist, Carol McEwan.
An off-white, minuet (ivory) coloured window mount and back are included to protect your prints in its frame.
