Drawing on location is at the heart of what I do and each month whatever the weather I will go out and sketch from observation. Bringing my sketches to my 2025 calendar I thought would be a great way to share my work, colour palettes and process and hopefully inspire others to sketch from their environment too.

Each month enjoy seasonal sketches from around the Lizard Peninsula and surrounding areas.
These sketches are all lifted from my sketchbook and drawn on location to capture the mood, colours and energy of the place. Sketch prompts and colour palettes are also included to inspire you in your creative pursuits, sketching or otherwise.
