Hi there! Welcome to my shop- Islamaymakes.
All of my makes are my own ideas and exclusive to me. Yes- they do cost a little more than mass produced items because they are all one of a kind , handsticthed, embroidered works of felt art.
I use only heirloom quality 100 % wool felt made in Europe and supplied by two UK based companies.
The felt is soft, strong, non-flammable and naturally stain resistant: it doesn't lose shape or go bobbly and contains no nasty chemicals.
I use natural 100% British wool fleece for stuffing my makes. It has been carefully washed and dried in the UK and has not been bleached or subjected to any chemical processes.
Natural wool’s advantages over synthetic alternatives are clear; it is hypoallergenic, odour resistant, and a natural fire retardant.
I sew with DMC or Anchor 100 % cotton threads , Liberty Print Tana Lawn for appliques work and where possible I use Tana Lawn spaghetti cord or cotton sateen ribbon for my hangers.

This Snow Girl felt Christmas ornament would look very festive hanging on your Xmas tree. She would also be a lovely surprise addition to a Christmas Eve box.
She is made from wool felt and wears a bright red coat with ecru trimming. I used DMC cotton thread for the decorations and she is stuffed with washed wool fleece.
Please note that she is decorated on one side only. This Snow Girl is made to be kept year after year and become a traditional part of your family's Christmas decor.

Although very cute and attractive to both adults and children, my makes are NOT toys. They are decorative accessories and as such have not been tested for toy safety.
Your Snow Girl will arrive carefully wrapped in tissue inside a sealed Jiffy envelope.
I aim to post all my orders within 2 days (unless it is a commissioned piece ) and I post Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For. I can also send direct to a recipient.
