Full description
The swan has often been seen as a symbol of wisdom and grace—such a beautiful bird. Margaret Macdonald Macintosh's works inspired my design here, with her elegant, flowing lines and smooth feminine curves.
Inspired by the Lucite lamps of the early 1900s. When lit emanates warm, soothing colours across your room.
I blended vibrant ruby reds with bold fern green. Both are marbled to show gold, and soft brown blends give a feeling of movement. I also added a touch of royal purple with a hint of marbled amber.
Each Elven Glass lamp is exclusively handmade with care in our studio gallery by Teresa. Depending on its design and size, it can take over 100 individual, handcrafted processes and many days to make.
This ensures that each vase is an individual work of art, a unique one-off piece.

Handmade in my studio, the Colour inlay is set against silver-lead detailing and edging to create a design that is pleasing to the eye yet still functional for lighting those dark corners. The light comes set into a hand-crafted Mahogany wood plinth in a natural wood finish, is prewired with gold cable and an integral switch, is in a brass lamp holder, and is supplied with a Low-Energy bulb.
