This brooch came out of an exploration of embroidery stitches that I completed, stitching 100 different stitches on linen or cotton squares over 100 days. Some of these stitches became graphic brooch designs invoking something natural using colour and stitch design.

This brooch is hand stitched on sky blue linen fabric and the geometric arrowhead stitch gives the impression of birds flying from the ocean. Finished using a high quality brooch back. Bring some colour and graphic style to your outfit
