The Lauren is named for my daughter in law, who like very many young millenials, hasn't yet been seduced to the dark side of pre loved vintage finds, rummage sales, and a bit of floral and chintz!
My Lauren loves clean modern lines with monochromes and neutrals. My love of florals isn't for her and yet i don't believe the practicality of having a tea cosy need be preserve of her grandmother or indeed her MiL And so I set about bringing something to life that wouldn't look out of place in her kitchen but can still be comfortable in mine

THE LAUREN
Tea Cosies may conjure an image of rustic rural tea times, a bit Rosy Rivetter, make do and mend.
But this is my take on a what is quite a useful addition to any tea time that can also be a bit more modern, clean lines and comfortable in a more streamlined tea time
The is monochrome black and natural cotton yarn for a no fuss, but classic line for a modern tea pot or a traditional afternoon tea without all the frills.
The funnel top means that there is some wiggle room for adjusting the cosy to fit taller pots or push the band down for stouter rounder pots. This jacket cosy fits upto a family size 6 cup pot
