This gorgeous fabric designed by Kimberly Hind, using original "Alice in Wonderland" illustrations and her beautiful embellishments was a dream to sew with. As part of a panel, I wanted to make a bag from the bunting aspect ie triangular penants. I enjoy trying out different ideas and settled on the half moon shape. I upcycled my jeans to add the denim aspect and I loved the process of making this bag. I added wooden handles as I thought the style complimented the shape of the bag.

HALF MOON HANDBAG WITH WOODEN HANDLES . IT IS HANDMADE USING 100% QUALITY COTTON IN AN "ALICE IN WONDERLAND", THEME WITH 4 IMAGE SQUARES ON ONE SIDE ( QUILTED) AND TRIANGULAR MOTIFS ON THE REVERSE. IT HAS A DEEP RED 100% COTTON LINING AND IS SPACIOUS INSIDE. EACH HANDLE IS HELD IN PLACE BY A DENIM PANEL EMBROIDERED WITH A RED STAR STITCH.
THIS QUIRKY BAG CAN BE USED FOR A HANDBAG OR A CRAFT BAG eg; KNITTING BAG, CROCHET BAG. ONLY ONE MADE . I HOPE YOU LOVE IT AS MUCH AS I DO !
