This unique Scottish gemstone pendant has hand cut silver ferns hugging the stone. The beautiful gemstone is a Lewisian Gneiss which is found in the Hebridean islands of Scotland and is the oldest gemstone found in Scotland at 3000 million years old. Imagine being able to wear a piece of jewellery with a stone as old as that.
It would make a wonderful gift for a milestone birthday, an anniversary or a birthday gift for a nature lover.
I have handmade this unique pendant from recycled sterling silver and an oval Lewisian Gneiss gemstone. The dainty silver ferns have been sawn by hand from a sheet of sterling silver and these fold over the gemstone. The back of the pendant also has a fern.
The pendant measures 37 x 23 mm and the chain length can be selected from the menu, please contact me if you would like a length different to the listed ones.
This unique piece of jewellery has been hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office and will be delivered gift wrapped.
Other pieces of Scottish gemstone jewellery are also available.
