Full description
We all need a bit of sunshine in our lives so why not have an everlasting one made from stained glass. Whether a gift for someone special or something for yourself this piece of glass art is guaranteed to '...make you happy when skies are grey...' And look at the beautiful two toned Yew wood! Ethically sourced from a small local family business who only deals with naturally felled wood. So no trees were deliberately chopped down for this piece.
The stained glass panel is handmade by me (Debbie) using the old craft of copper foiling, made famous by Tiffany. Each piece of glass is individually cut and wrapped with foil and then hand soldered to create a nice rounded smooth bead. The solder has a black patina applied which makes the colours really 'pop'.
The wood frame was made by my other half (Donnie). He has fine sanded and treated the yew with Osmo oil.
