The inspiration for this augmented reality poster stems from the Japanese philosophy of "Wabi-Sabi," which celebrates the beauty in imperfection and the transient nature of life. This philosophy encourages us to find peace and beauty in simplicity and the natural world. I wanted to capture this essence and bring it into your living space through a calming "breathe in, breathe out" animation.
The idea was to create more than just a visual piece; I aimed to design an interactive experience that promotes relaxation and mindfulness. By integrating augmented reality, this poster becomes a dynamic element in your environment, inviting you to pause, breathe, and appreciate the present moment.
This piece is part of a series of four Japanese mindfulness posters, each reflecting different aspects of tranquility and mindfulness. My hope is that this artwork not only enhances your space aesthetically but also provides a moment of calm and reflection in your daily life.
