Living on the North Norfolk coast, the sea has always been a constant source of inspiration and solace.
One crisp morning, after a stormy night, I wandered down to the beach, where the shore was scattered with an array of mussel shells, glistening in the early light. Each shell, polished by the waves, seemed to tell a story of the sea's journey. As I gathered them, I was struck by their natural beauty—the deep blues, purples, and pearlescent tones, all whispering of the ocean's mysteries.
Inspired by the shells' delicate colours, I decided to create a mussel shell wreath. For me, it’s more than just a piece of decor; it’s a tribute to the North Norfolk coast, a place where the sea and land meet.
Each wreath is a labour of love, a way to bring a piece of this magical shoreline into homes, allowing others to experience the beauty that I’m fortunate to live beside every day.
