Scottish thistle made it stained glass by Carole’s Glass.
These thistle suncatchers would make a great present for any garden lover or for someone who originates from Scotland.
These have been made using 4 types of green stained glass for the leaves and stem and purple sea glass for the flower head. Tinned copper wire has been used to add detail to the flower head.
These suncatchers have been made by hand cutting the glass, grinding and washing before foiling and soldering together, the wire detail added and then a final wash and polish.
These measure 12cms wide by 13.5cms high.
I have four thistles available and you will be asked to state which you’d like when adding to the basket. No. 4 has now sold.
They will look beautiful in any window and does not have to be in a window which gets full sun, the beauty of the glass will be visible wherever it is.
I will supply a window hook with every suncatcher so the glass can be hung as soon as received. Just remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly onto the window.
I normally post the following working day and this will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24.
