John used to be a tool maker and so his work is always very precise- that’s why he does all the measuring stuff that’s required! I have always made Green Man items and John has caught the bug and created this beautiful version.

Full description
This gorgeous Green Man is embossed on copper and mounted on reclaimed roof slate. The Green Man is an ancient symbol of new life, rebirth and fertility and is found all over the country, often in the walls of old churches, where Christianity sought to bring pagan believers into their church.
This measures approx 24cm x 26cm and is strung ready for hanging. He could hang outside, although the copper will develop verdigris in the damp. This gives it a very attractive patina, but isn’t always appreciated!
