This is a beautiful deep blue necklace made entirely of sodalite and sterling silver beads.
This unusual one-of-a-kind necklace shows how stunning sodalite really is. The round beads range from inky dark indigo blue to mid blue tinged with white clouds, the dainty heishi beads add a wonderful depth and texture to the piece and the carved sodalite stars add a really unusual accent. In between each bead are sterling silver beads that twinkle like stars peeking through the dark night skies and sterling silver bead caps have been used to add light.
The centrepiece though, is the sterling silver star pendant which has been beautifully styled and dances from a sterling silver bar so it can really move and catch the light. The drop is about 2"/6 cm including the bail, and the star itself measures approximately 2"/5 cm.
The necklace is approximately 17"/43 cm, designed to sit on the collarbone area. This necklace is suitable for an extender chain fitting if required. It fastens with a sterling silver lobster clasp.
