I read about the working class people who worked in the copper industury in Swansea in the early nineteenth century and wanted to make something to remember them by. I ended up making a series of three unique pendants as testament to the copper heritage of the town.

Full description
This is a beautiful handmade Sterling Silver 925 Copper Works Pendant with Amber Gemstone & Chain. I created this pendant by hand out of 100% recycled 925 Sterling Silver and copper to commemorate the copper works heritage of Swansea. It shows a copper works scene and a tube-set round amber cabochon. It was featured in a set of 3 pendants entitled 'Copr Works' commemorating the copper heritage of Wales in a Welsh art gallery in 2024 (all three of the pendants are shown in the final photo).
This unique piece of silver jewellery hangs on an 18" trace chain made of sterling silver 925 and is fully hallmarked. It is inspired by the history of the copper works in Wales and would make a meaningful gift for those who love history and making.
