The original inspiration came from seeing the beautiful Roman Fenwick treasure collection in the Castle Museum in Colchester (where I live!). I just love the colours and simplicity, especially when combined with the warm hue of gold.

I have no idea why the photos are showing so dark! The tubular beads in this piece are a true blue…
I made this choker length necklace using gorgeous mid blue lapis lazuli tubular beads, combined with 4mm chrysocolla, and 24k gold vermeil beads.
The necklace fastens with a 24k lobster clasp.
It measures 17” with a 1” extender, and finishes with a little chrysocolla bead.
