With best wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Thank you for your support in 2024, the shop will reopen in early January.
I am a self taught textile artist who works mainly in recycled/upcycled fabrics to make home wares and accessories
The inspiration for this was to use up those lovely scraps of fabric which I can’t bear to throw away, whilst creating something functional but fun. We all need storage pots, or even just as something to make you smile.

I hate waste - so designed these storage pots to use up all those pieces of fabric which are too lovely to throw away, and they are so useful.
I have one in my workshop with all my cottons in, one in the bathroom with all my makeup in and one on the dressing table with brushes etc in.
NB this pot is not waterproof
This particular storage pot is made from up cycled curtain samples of sky blue with a cream basket weave pattern and a teal chenille fabric for the base and bottom half of the pot.
It has been decorated with a puffin swimming on the sea showing his legs paddling under the water and a piece of net curtain for the ripples of waves. It has been hand embroidered onto an oddment of wool clothing.
The pot has been interlined with an iron-on interfacing.
The pot is lined in a contrasting patterned textile which was a sample curtain in a previous life.
As I source fabrics whenever and wherever I found them, I’m not always certain of fibre content.
