Full description
Beautiful large (50x50cm) chessboard in Ziricote, Pommele Sapele and Walnut Burr Veneers, handmade the traditional way in my small workshop near Edinburgh.
Oiled to enhance and preserve the natural beauty of the wood. Open pores, no toxic epoxy, pore fillers or spray lacquer, just many coats of hand rubbed finishing oil.
The back is made with black dyed sycamore veneers.
