A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.

Full description
This is a small Scottish coastal landscape painting. The sky is a bright blue which contrasts with the deep blue-greens of the sea. The water is relatively calm but there is some sea spray which offers a warning of the power of the sea. The cliffs and sand are brighter which gives a sense of security and safety. The acrylic paint has been thickly applied using a range of palette knives, sponges and brushes.
This painting would look great on a shelf or side table, resting on its own easel.
