Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A brand new design in 2023 and I think it is quite stunning and very special.
It is a striking 'picture' of 2 roses and a rose bud in shades of yellow, red and streaky amber.
I've infilled between the roses with a clear water glass.
The picture is framed in clear prettily textured glass and then with a strengthening border of twisted wire.
This is beautifully bright and cheerful and casts lovely colours when it hangs in the light of a window. It also looks very lovely hanging on the wall as a picture.
It measures 16cm x 19cm and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.
My pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different.
