Full description
I created my image from a picture I drew in 2019 Titled: Wasteland. The picture was about a system that reflected capitalism unregulated. I decided from this to create a poplar brightly coloured image to celebrate a happy mood. Moreover, the words, 'Seeing Stars' and slightly blurred imagery are of a contrasting nature coupled with irony and slapstick comedy.
The character reached for a white feather which referenced emotive language by being stiff and wooden. However, with the bright colours at play depicted strength, hope and determination.
